Negotiation Team Prepares for Bargaining!
WPEA’s FVRL members will soon be negotiating
their new contract. Because they are public employees and
not state employees, they negotiate their own contract.
However, they do have many of the same issues and concerns
as state employees. WPEA’s Executive Director, Leslie
Liddle, and Staff Representative, Allan Jacobson, will be
heading up the FVRL Team made up of Mark Rogen, Eddie Rosen,
Erica Rhodes, and Amy Wright with a goal of more
improvements for their members. The first three negotiation
dates have been set for July 11, 19, and 26.
“New library buildings and the cost of living
shouldn’t be the only things that go up around here — so
should our members’ wages,” said Rogen. “Industry-standard
wage parity is long-overdue for these highly trained,
efficient and dedicated public servants.”
