PERC Unit Clarification Complete

Following a hearing at the Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC) in February, WPEA received the decision on who belongs in the WPEA Military Bargaining Unit. The new bargaining unit description is as follows.

“All trades, maintenance, custodial and security employees of the Washington State Military Department governed by RCW41.06 and 41.80 in the Joint Services Division, the Army Division and the Air National Guard Division, excluding all supervisors, managers, professionals, office, clerical and administrative employees, confidential employees, and Emergency Management Division employees.”
