Call for Delegates to Labor Council
WPEA/UFCW Local 365 is seeking qualified delegates to
represent member interests for three labor organizations.
Thurston-Lewis-Mason Central Labor Council
(Two Delegate Openings Still Available)
Meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7 pm. Location alternates
between Olympia and Chehalis.
Currently President Greg Parker, District 11 VP Mark Baca, and
Governmental Relations Director Luis Moscoso sit on the Council as
representatives of WPEA.
Pierce County Central Labor Council (Two Delegate Openings)
Meets at 7 pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month (except
July and August - only one meeting is held).
Washington State Jobs with Justice (One Delegate Opening)
Meets quarterly in S. King County/Tacoma area. Jobs with Justice
advocates for the right to a job, a right to organize and strike,
health care for all, civil rights, and funding community needs.
To qualify for a delegate seat, you must:

Be a member in good standing with
paid up dues.

Attend all scheduled meetings.

Submit a written report to the Union
Executive Board within 10 days following the
meeting.

If requested, attend E-Board Meetings
for direction and guidance on membership input.

For the Tri-County CLC or the Pierce
County CLC, you must work in those areas. For Jobs
with Justice, you must work in King, Pierce,
Thurston, Kitsap or Mason counties.
WPEA will pay your meeting-related travel expenses.
