Officer Election Ballot Count

The link to the Ballot Count Zoom meeting on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, is shown below.  The Zoom will begin running at 12:15 pm. Ballots will be retrieved from the Post Office at noon and then go to the Hotel R-L (Red Lion) and start.  As of December 1, no candidate in a contested race (who responded) wanted to attend the ballot count in person, nor did anyone want to send a designee.  Therefore, only the Election Judges, John Heaney with True Ballot, the Red Lion audiovisual tech, and Fawn Hacker will be present in the Fir ballroom to count ballots.  
 
At this point in time, the Election Judges are:  Mark Lann from Revenue; Joe Buenaventura from Skagit Valley College;  Courtney Braddock from Clark College; Seamus Petrie with WPEA and the APS.  Mike Backhaus and Fawn Hacker will provide extra hands for slicing open envelopes while the others are separating envelopes from envelopes and ballots from envelopes, and anything else that needs to be done to support the judges.  The actual scanning of the ballots will be done by John Heaney of True Ballot.
