At WPEA, we owe our success to our members. Through your involvement in WPEA, you can help improve working conditions for yourself and other public employees:

  • By attending quarterly District Meetings, you help establish union goals and policies.
  • As a Job Representative, you have the opportunity to advocate workplace rights and represent your coworkers. As a union representative, you educate employees, investigate possible contract violations, and more.
  • Get politically active with our legislative action team. You can make your voice heard by making a contribution to the WPEA Legislative-Political Action Fund, contacting lawmakers, attending a rally, and more.
  • As a member of the Labor-Management or Union-Management communications committees (LMCC or UMCC), you can help increase communication and cooperation between labor and management through quarterly meetings.
