On December 28, the KRL Board of Trustees approved the 2% step increase for 2011 for those librarians not at the top of the salary scale. The increase resulted from bargaining by KRL and WPEA on December 8. As previously mentioned, the WPEA team would have liked to see a raise for all librarians—even those at the top of their range—but recognized the budgeting difficulties all public entities have experienced.
Job Representatives
Job Reps are always there to help, whether you have a problem in your workplace, a question about your contract or just want to know more about your union. Job Reps are the only workplace representatives recognized by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
