Camas educators reach tentative agreement; strike may end

From The Stand. CAMAS, Wash. — After six days on strike, the 450 Camas Education Association members could be in classrooms with their 7,300 students before the end of the week. Negotiating teams from CEA and the Camas School District came to a tentative agreement on Wednesday night after months of intense negotiations. The CEA members will now vote on whether to ratify the agreement. If approved by 50 percent-plus-one of the membership, the educators will return to work.
