WPEA employees at our various colleges throughout the state may find themselves at different points in the ctcLink onboarding process, but one thing is clear to all, regardless of where you and your college are at in the process, there is a large list of questions and concerns surrounding ctcLink. Preparation, training, the functionality, accuracy, security, confidentiality, the processes, changes to how your job functions, and many more have been brought up for consideration. As announced during the WPEA District Meeting, we are establishing a ctcLink Committee to facilitate member conversation, outline member concerns, collate data, but most importantly, to establish a forum for our members to come together to discuss and do these things. The ability of the WPEA to represent our members collectively on this topic is tied directly to our collective knowledge of the topic itself…and that doesn’t happen without you!
Executive Board Vice President and Steward at Cascadia College, Julia Williams, is in the thick of this process herself and has agreed to chair this committee. Our thanks go out to Julia but we need individuals from every college to participate on this committee for it to be a true success.
