Your Collective Bargaining Agreement
On occasion you will encounter conflicts between the information that your agency provides and your Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). It is important to note that your CBA is a very powerful document. CBA language supersedes that of all other documents, policies, procedures, or directives; with the only exceptions being the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) and the Constitution of Washington State. If you are experiencing a conflict at work, or being denied your rights, please reach out for assistance. Complete the WPEA Issue Intake Form and a member of your Leadership Team will follow up with you.

So, you are part of the BU, but not a member yet? Being part of the BU provides you with basic representation, but membership gives you power, access to benefits, and most importantly, a voice. We encourage you to reach out to learn about these benefits and to Join WPEA.
