Your Collective Bargaining Agreement
On occasion you will encounter conflicts between the information that your agency provides and your Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). It is important to note that your CBA is a very powerful document. CBA language supersedes that of all other documents, policies, procedures, or directives; with the only exceptions being the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) and the Constitution of Washington State. Do you have questions about your rights and representation? Find your answers in your CBA. Click the button to the right. |
Your Rights
If you are experiencing a conflict at work, or being denied your rights, please reach out for assistance. Complete the WPEA Issue Intake Form and a member of your Leadership Team will follow up with you. |
Your Leadership Team
If you are unsure of your situation and need advice or direction, please contact your Leadership Team and they can discuss your options and aid you in obtaining answers to your questions. |

Your Contact Information
The most important component in WPEA’s representation of your rights, is you. Having current contact information for our membership is vital, so please ensure that the WPEA can reach out to you in a proper and timely fashion by updating your contact information. |
Your Membership
So, you are part of the BU, but not a member yet? Being part of the BU provides you with basic representation, but membership gives you power, access to benefits, and most importantly, a voice. We encourage you to reach out to learn about these benefits and to Join WPEA. |
