Recently you were mailed notice of the nomination and voting process for delegates to the UFCW Constitutional Convention. For any who have not yet received the letter, the text is below:

Greetings WPEA Members!
The UFCW hosts a Constitutional Convention every five years. This year, the convention will be held in Las Vegas, NV from April 24th-28th. UFCW locals may send delegates based on the number of active members they have as outlined in Article 15 of the UFCW International Constitution.*
NOMINATIONS
The WPEA will be hosting meetings to nominate delegates and alternates to the attend the UFCW International Convention. These nomination meetings will be held digitally on:
Saturday January 28 11:00am-1:00pm
Tuesday January 31 6:00pm-8:00pm
Links to attend each of these meetings can be found on the WPEA website at https://www.wpea.org/ufcwconvention.html.** If you are unable to attend, and wish to nominate yourself, you may email Aubrei Franklin at [email protected], no later than 5:00pm on Tuesday, January 31.
ELIGIBILITY
Delegates and alternates must be active members in good standing since August 2021 and remain members through the dates of the Convention.
VOTING
Voting will be conducted electronically and accessed by an individual, secure PIN. Personal information for voting will be mailed to all eligible, voting members on February 1. Voting will open on February 2 and close on February 15. Once the vote is tallied, a complete list of delegates will be posted on the WPEA website at the link listed above on February 21.
